We are seeking an Area Sales Manager – Surgical Robotics , eager to deploy their leadership and expertise to directly sell the Medtronic Hugo™ RAS System, end effectors and service.

Job responsibilities

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's Medical/Scientific Equipment products and services including non-implantable medical or scientific equipment products and/or services (e.g., diagnostic medical equipment, medical imaging…
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including hospitals, physicians, and Radiology and Surgical personnel.
  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's Medical/Scientific Equipment products and/or services.
  • Conducts and/or evaluates market research including customers and competitors activities.
  • Develops and/or implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
  • Assesses customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or modifications to existing products and communicates to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Job requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 10+ years experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 8+ years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 6+ years experience in sales in a medical and/or operating room environment.
  • Must be able to travel region assigned (50% plus)
  • Expertise in the world of surgery, possessing active and deep know-how about minimal invasive and robotic-assisted surgery
  • An active network in the field of surgery, operating rooms and have a network of surgeons you connect with regularly
  • A strong commitment to success through ethical practices, always adhering to company policies.
  • Strong ability to communicate ideas clearly, with a passion for critical thinking, intelligent debate, and continuous learning.
  • Modern computer literacy
  • Experience working in a matrix structure
