Job requirements

  • Must have Certified Welding Inspector certification (CWI) with minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Experience with the following welding processes: GTAW, FCAW, SMAW
  • Extensive knowledge of NDT processes including: VT, PT, MT
  • Experience inspecting to and working in accordance with national fabrication codes and standards (AWS D17.1, ASME BPVC Section IX, B31.1, B31.3, AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.6, D14.0 etc.)
  • Experience in upholding shop fabrication requirements established in codes and standards for code compliant fabrication.
  • Experience in welder performance qualification tasks.
  • Ability to learn, grow and tackle new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and task ownership, someone who demonstrates pride in all work and willingness to perform low-level tasks when needed.
