Job description

ABOUT THE JOB We are seeking a Chief Engineer with a proven track record in designing a next-generation vehicle product that transforms any vehicle into a software-defined mission system. As Chief Engineer you will lead the architecture and delivery of a vehicle-to-mission interface layer which abstracts power, data, networking, and control into a common environment for mission kits. Your leadership will drive both product design and production process optimization, ensuring that our systems are robust, cost-effective, and ready for the field. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Job requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, or related field required
  • Proven experience in designing new products and delivering hardware and software at scale
  • 15+ years of experience in complex system architecture and integration
  • 5+ years of experience leading multi-disciplined teams developing software enabled hardware products
  • Expertise in vehicle electrical and power systems (12-28V architecture, conversion, distribution, and load management)
  • Expertise in embedded systems and ruggedized compute platforms
  • Experience applying safety-critical frameworks including hazard analysis and safety case development
  • Proven ability to design system with fault isolation, fail-safe behavior, and non-interference – ensuring that mission systems cannot impact vehicle-critical functions
