Job responsibilities
- Assist one of our various Hardware Engineering teams with designing, documenting, building, testing and debugging of the latest technologies and engineering designs.
- Design parts for various manufacturing processes, including machining, casting, sheet metal, plastics, and fabricated assemblies using CAD.
- Assemble electromechanical assemblies, fixtures utilizing hand tools, measurement equipment and machine tools.
- Assist in debugging issues with the bot Mechanical and Electro-mechanical systems and components.
- Develop and execute robot motion scripts (python) to control single-axis repetitive movements and coordinate complex multi-axis behaviors in support of test requirements.
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Contribute to the design and implementation of PLC hardware and software systems.
- Inform reliability test plans to identify failure modes early in development cycles.
