Deployment Lead

Job description

As a Deployment Lead on the Air Defense team, you are responsible for delivering and sustaining a capability that meets our customers' mission requirements and exceeds their expectations. You own the full lifecycle of a deployment — from planning and installation through sustainment and continuous improvement — and partner with the Training Lead to deliver training events that make end users confident operators of what you've fielded. You fulfill this responsibility through rigorous operational execution, detail orientation, proactive communication, deep mission understanding, and hard-won product expertise.

Job requirements

Advanced degree or 5+ years of experience in a technical field, preferably in the defense, national security, or aerospace domain
Highly organized creative problem-solver with proven project management skills
Comfortable delivering technical content to end users and reinforcing proficiency during site visits
Experienced in the creation and upkeep of documentation for new or developing processes, including operational procedures and user-facing materials
Proven experience leading tech-enabled teams of peers while building a culture of influence through relationships
Deep interest in national security issues and defense technologies, with a commitment to lifelong learning
Experience translating technical concepts into operational requirements and performance specifications
Ownership mentality with strong initiative in managing your own work in isolated or remote environments
