Job description

We are looking for a Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of our power and motion control systems for our robotic systems. This role is an opportunity to lead the long-term architecture of our robotics platform and help build the technical foundation for robots and humans working together.

Key job responsibilities - Lead the design, layout, and validation of PCBs for power distribution, motor drivers, embedded systems, and sensor integration

- Architect and optimize power distribution and battery system to support a robot with high-performance actuators and real-time compute workloads

Job requirements

5+ years of electrical theory, robotics, controls components, and automated equipment experience
4+ years of motor controls (motor starts, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components) experience
Experience developing products for large volume production
Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
Strong PCB design and layout skills (Altium, KiCad, or similar) with an understanding of high-power circuits, signal integrity, and thermal constraints
Experience with lithium-ion battery systems, BMS hardware/software, and power distribution architectures
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including experience with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and motor test benches
Proficiency with embedded system interfaces (FDCAN, SPI, I2C, RS485, USB) and experience working with STM32 microcontrollers
