Intern - Integration Engineering - Mechanical (Spring 2027)
Job description
This internship is ideal for mechanical engineering students or master's students in other disciplines who have completed a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. The focus will be on AutoCAD and SolidWorks design for components and systems .
Under the guidance of experienced Mujin team members, the intern will have hands-on exposure to a variety of projects and tasks. This immersive experience will help interns develop practical skills, gain industry insights, and build a professional network.
Internship will run January 11th- April 23rd.
Mujin is the future of industrial robotic systems in production and distribution environments.
Job responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models
- Support the development of prototypes and testing of new designs
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain and update design documentation and project files
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards
Job requirements
- Currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering program or a graduate program in another discipline with a completed bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Strong understanding of mec h anical design principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with robotics or automation systems
