Inventory Control Manager

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the governance of inventory transactions, operational data, inventory master data, and inventory verification processes. This role establishes and maintains the operational controls that ensure inventory records accurately reflect physical activity, operational data is reliable, and inventory processes scale with the business.

Job requirements

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in inventory control, inventory operations, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory flow, production workflows, inventory tracking, and ERP transaction processing, with demonstrated experience designing, documenting, and maintaining inventory control processes that…
  • Experience monitoring inventory controls through reconciliations, KPIs, scorecards, and variance analysis, while identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze ERP, production, inventory, and operational data using advanced Excel to perform reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and improve inventory and data accuracy.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across operations teams to establish, maintain, and improve controls.
  • Experience in aerospace, hardware, automotive, or other complex manufacturing environments with mature inventory control processes.
  • Experience building inventory controls, governance, and operational processes within rapidly growing, evolving, or transitional manufacturing organizations.
