Inventory Control Supervisor

Job description

We are looking for an Inventory Control Supervisor to join our rapidly growing team in Quonset, Rhode Island. In this role, you will be responsible for standing up and leading the inventory control function at our multi-product manufacturing site, ensuring material accuracy and availability across multiple production lines. You will oversee a team of Inventory Control Associates, establish cycle count programs, drive root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, and partner closely with production and warehouse teams to maintain uninterrupted material flow.

  • Inventory Accuracy & Control: Own cycle count programs, physical inventory counts, and reconciliation processes across all product lines.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or materials management in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ year of experience supervising or leading a team
  • Proficiency with ERP and/or WMS platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH) and comfort working with large data sets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communicator who can work across functions and present to leadership
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
  • Experience in a defense, aerospace, or government-contract manufacturing environment
