Job requirements

  • 1-2 years of mechanical design experience
  • B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent, minimum requirement)
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanism design, electronics packaging,sensors
  • Knowledge of various types of motors, encoders, power transmission, and drive-train-related components such as gears, lead screws, linear guides, harmonic drive actuators, etc.
  • Proven experience designing and building mechanisms and assemblies, preferably in robotics
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical analysis including modeling tolerance stacks, static and dynamic analysis, FEA and thermal analysis
  • Ability to be on-site at Agility’s design facility as needed (minimum 2 days per week and as needed to support design activities, reviews, prototype testing, etc.)
  • Robotics experience design experience
