Job description

We’re looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to spearhead electrical design for advanced manufacturing facilities infrastructure. This key role drives the development of next-generation facilities, delivering efficiently at Amazon's scale. In this capacity, you’ll serve as the principal electrical engineering leader, guiding design and engineering tasks that support infrastructure construction, from initial concept through to full production.

Key job responsibilities -Build and lead the electrical team to execute all aspects of the electrical design

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • +15 years of professional expertise in designing and constructing electrical systems for large-scale manufacturing and industrial applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of industrial and facilities electric infrastructure design, particularly at 5kV and 480V levels
  • Extensive familiarity with electrical maintenance codes and safe work practices, including: NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E, IEEE 1584, NFPA 497
  • Proficient in the use of Revit, Revisto, and Navisworks
