With a strong focus on innovation and excellence, we collaborate closely to design and optimize cutting-edge RF solutions that meet the demands of internal customers, external clients, and the industry. ABOUT THE JOB We are seeking a RF Systems Engineer to join our team in Costa Mesa, CA. This role is focused on RF design, simulation, build, fabrication, test, and field troubleshooting. This position requires you have proven industry experience, with solid references.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 7+ years of industry experience with hands-on RF systems design, build, test, and troubleshooting
- The ability to work collaboratively with other teams to help define product requirements, do trade analysis, develop specifications and conduct system level tests
- Experience using RF test equipment to design, build, and troubleshoot RF systems
- Knowledge of aviation communications systems (radio, antennae, and similar systems) and tactical communication systems
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of Ethernet and similar networks
- Experience in the electrical integration of avionics modules and payloads into C2 systems, UAVs, ground vehicles, and weapons systems
- Understanding of hardware evaluation methodologies, including development of test cases/suites, performance monitoring, test automation, and data analysis
