Job responsibilities

  • This role initially has no direct reports. You may lead assigned projects and guide colleagues through functional ownership, subject-matter expertise, collaboration, coaching, and influence across the accounting…

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • At least eight years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience or five or more years in a Big 4 audit firm.
  • Strong technical accounting foundation, including demonstrated ability to research U.S. GAAP, evaluate complex facts, exercise sound judgment, and prepare clear technical accounting documentation.
  • Meaningful experience with public-company financial reporting, SEC reporting requirements, or audits of SEC registrants.
  • Understanding of financial statements, disclosure requirements, external audit execution, and internal control over financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to move assigned work from analysis and recommendation through stakeholder alignment, implementation, and ownership of outcomes.
  • Strong leadership potential and collaborative influence, including the ability to share knowledge, build consensus, challenge constructively, and translate complex requirements into practical guidance.
