Job Description: Machina Labs is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing software engineering team and help build the infrastructure that powers our advanced robotics manufacturing platform. In this role, you will design, scale, and own the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment systems that support our robotics software platform.

Job responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure, including Azure Government environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Manage and maintain Linux-based systems and services across development and production environments.
  • Support containerized deployments using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage secrets, certificates, and authentication across services and environments.
  • Implement system observability including logging, monitoring, alerting, and tracing.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and help define operational best practices.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Deep experience working with Linux-based environments.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Experience deploying and managing containerized applications (Docker and/or Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Python and/or JavaScript to support automation, tooling, or platform integration.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
