Key job responsibilities - Work with an interdisciplinary team to design new robotic industrial automation from concept to production, and improve and maintain existing product designs. - Design of industrial control panels and complex electrical systems, including: layouts, schematics, BOM, documentation for fabrication, coordination with build/procurement, certification/QC and field support. - Write requirements and functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures. - Develop field support hardware diagnostics tools, documents, and training to resolve issues in high complexity FC system installations.

Job requirements

Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up
Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
6+ years of experience in the design of complex electrical products and equipment
Established background in Robotics or Mechatronic Systems
Configuration management PDM and PLM experience
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well with teams of hardware and software engineers
