Senior Electrical Engineer
Job description
As a Senior Electrical Engineer at GITAI, you will own electrical hardware from circuit design through PCB design, bring-up, integration, and test. You must be able to independently design and debug fundamental digital and analog circuits, develop PCBAs from schematic through layout, and verify the resulting hardware through hands-on testing. On top of that broad foundation, we expect you to bring deep expertise in at least one technical area, such as power electronics, RF, FPGA-based systems, high-speed digital, motor control, or another relevant domain, and use that expertise to raise the technical level of the team. This is a hands-on Senior IC role.
Job requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical hardware development experience.
- Strong fundamentals in both digital and analog circuit design.
- Demonstrated ability to personally take PCBAs from schematic design and PCB layout through fabrication, bring-up, debugging, and test.
- Deep technical expertise in at least one area such as power electronics, RF, FPGA-based systems, high-speed digital, motor control, or another relevant electrical engineering domain.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical decisions and raise the capability of other engineers through design reviews, debugging, and hands-on technical guidance.
- Strong practical experience with Altium or similar ECAD tools, PCB fabrication and assembly, and electrical lab equipment.
- Ability to drive technical work across multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders under incomplete or changing requirements.
