Senior FPGA Engineer - Simulink (REMOTE)

Job description

Job responsibilities

• Work with a cross-functional engineering team (RF, DSP, Firmware, FPGA, software, Test) to deliver robust embedded processing solutions for communications and networking.
• Execute and optimize the FPGA Firmware implementation development lifecycle, from algorithms in Matlab and/or Simulink and requirements definition through architecture, design, development, Firmware implementation,…
• Establish and optimize comprehensive product development workflows and best practices across the HDL firmware lifecycle, encompassing architecture, design, simulation, verification, and system testing.
• Develop microProcessor ICDs between FPGA and message/data handling schemes
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional hardware and/or embedded systems product development teams, taking firmware and software from concept to production
• 6+ years of experience designing, implementing, and verifying FPGA-based systems using VHDL or Verilog,
• Experience using code-generators to translate MATLAB/Simulink algorithms into FPGA implementations
