Job requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience with overall facility design beyond the production floor — building shell, infrastructure integration, dock and staging design, utility routing, column grid optimization, and the interface between…
• Experience standing up a centralized layout management capability from scratch — repository architecture, CAD standards, shape libraries, governance, and organizational adoption.
• Prior work designing and commissioning new production lines or factories from greenfield — from process mapping through collaborating with architectural and infrastructure design partners to detailed workstation design.
• Experience in high-mix, complex manufacturing, production ramp, or multi-site environments where layouts must accommodate frequent change.
• Experience with 3D factory visualization and walkthrough tools for stakeholder review and approval.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing layout principles — cellular manufacturing, U-cells, one-piece flow, point-of-use storage, visual management, and 5S integration into spatial design.
• Experience integrating layout data with enterprise systems (ERP, MES, CMMS, or facility management platforms).
