Job description

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience in high-volume assembly environments, with strong skills in process engineering, equipment deployment, and production system design. You should be energized by ambiguity, comfortable iterating quickly, and motivated by solving hard problems. This role requires strong technical execution, collaboration across disciplines, and the willingness to roll up your sleeves in a dynamic environment where the next problem is never the same as the last one.

Job requirements

  • Experience in vendor management, or experience in facilities management
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of direct manufacturing engineering experience in high-volume assembly environments for complex electromechanical products.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, startup, and ramp-up of integrated assembly operations.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly methods including mechanical joining, fastening, adhesive bonding, press-fits, human-assisted automation, and robotic assembly.
  • Track record of driving down manufacturing costs while maintaining or improving product quality.
  • Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments.
