Senior Procurement Manager

Job description

ABOUT THE JOB We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead and scale procurement operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for building and executing the procurement strategy that underpins Anduril’s rapid growth in critical imaging products and defense programs. You will own supplier relationships at the strategic level, drive cost and delivery performance across a complex supply base, and build the procurement organization needed to support full-rate production. The ideal candidate brings deep procurement expertise, a track record of leading teams through high-growth environments, and the judgment to balance cost, risk, and speed in a fast-moving defense business.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Supplier Relationships & Negotiations: Serve as the senior point of contact for key suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Drive Sourcing & Supplier Qualification: Lead make-vs-buy decisions and source selection for complex components and assemblies.
  • Own Risk Management & Cost Performance: Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks including long-lead materials, sole-source dependencies, and capacity constraints.

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a management or team lead role, preferably in aerospace & defense, propulsion, or regulated manufacturing.
  • Strong background in procurement, subcontracts, material planning, and warehouse/inventory operations.
