Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, COTS/MOTS

Job description

As a Senior Supply Quality Engineer, you will work both internally and externally within the organization to define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high-quality and reliable COTS/MOTS parts to Anduril. This role focuses on collaborating with design, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure COTS/MOTS parts meet design and performance requirements. Success hinges on clarity and decisive action with our suppliers, and partnering with them for world-class results is essential across the entire supply chain. The ideal candidate are self-starters who are capable of working in a fast pace environment with limited instructions.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field
  • Supplier Quality Engineering, onsite Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience in a highly regulated production environment (Minimum 3-5 years)
  • Working experience with any of the following manufacturing environment: electro mechanical assembly , micro-electronics and mechanical assembly process
  • Working knowledge and auditing experience of AS9100/ ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements.
  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma
  • Experience performing First Article Inspection to AS9102 Industry Standard.
  • Experience with driving supplier performance and evaluation. Experience with Statement of Work (SOW), quality clauses, intellectual property (IP), and government regulations such as ITAR, etc..
  • Working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) elements such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Quality…
