Job responsibilities

• Create sourcing strategies for assigned categories to reduce risk and meet targets for the purchasing department including, but not limited to, payment terms, cash targets, and cost savings
• Develop and maintain key internal stakeholder relationships to create strategic sourcing models that optimize the value of products and services that support business unit requirements to maintain continuous cost…
• Present confidently to decision makers on launch critical response events
• Communicate, manage, and drive compliance to category strategies
• Identify and execute cost reduction projects including planning, coordinating with stakeholders, estimating completion, and project updates
• Perform advanced quantitative and business process analyses to identify financial impacts of decisions, cost improvement and performance for assigned categories
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define Service Level Agreements and KPIs for suppliers and measure the appropriate criteria, such as: delivery of business results, cost reduction, quality and timeliness of delivery
• Conduct research, perform benchmarking, and gather market analysis for assigned categories

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of experience working in one or more of the following; OR 4+ years of experience working in one or more of the following: Purchasing
• Contract negotiation
• Operations or supply chain management
• 1+ years of procurement experience with sourcing gas turbines, turbine generator packages, BOP equipment, and/or SCR systems (catalyst, ammonia/urea reagent systems, injection skids, and related emissions-control…
• Working knowledge of the gas turbine OEM landscape, long-lead capital equipment, spare parts / aftermarket, and service agreements (LTSA, O&M, overhaul, field service)
• Understanding of gas turbine and SCR technical drivers (output, heat rate, availability, NOx/CO performance, catalyst life, reagent consumption) and how they affect total cost of ownership
• Experience with capital project procurement: RFPs, bid evaluation, T&Cs, FAT/SAT, commissioning support, and coordination with engineering, facilities, test, and launch stakeholders
• Strong background in total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, supply risk mitigation, dual-sourcing strategies, and ensuring continuity of supply for critical manufacturing or production operations
