Sr. Controls Engineer
Job description
This is an in person role at our San Antonio, TX based Headquarters.
As a Sr. Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of robotic controls and electronics for our InductOne and related systems. You will also be responsible for programming PLCs and configuring controls (drivers, sensors, etc. ) to meet performance and quality requirements. You will drive technical architecture by collaborating with mechanical and software engineers.

Job responsibilities
- Support the implementation of best practices for electrical/ controls change management.
- Draft industrial electrical schematics , panel layouts , and corresponding BOMs .
- Select and specify industrial components for electrical design .
- P rogram and troubleshoot PLCs ( Allen Bradley or similar) for machine control .
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of control system s for machine safety .
- Deliver high-quality hardware releases within scope and timeline.
- Coordinate with software development teams to understand and implement hardware / software interfaces.
- Provide technical support for requests from operations and field teams.
