Job description

You'll define what "Exceptional UX" means in an environment where the user's hands and body are constantly in motion and their focus is on getting the job done right. This means designing not just pixels, but the full interaction arc: how someone is guided through each step of a workflow — clearly, safely, and with minimal friction — while supporting momentum and a clear path forward when things go wrong.

Key job responsibilities * Design across the digital-physical spectrum including workstation screen interfaces, and physical affordances like light and sound

* Define interaction models for interfaces optimized for safety, efficiency, accuracy, and comfort, across a highly diverse workforce

Job requirements

7+ years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
5+ years of hands-on work with: field research, ethnography, lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, and survey design experience
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production
Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems, or experience in development in the last 3 years
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction or UX Design, Industrial Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Comfort navigating ambiguity and defining UX strategy in innovation problem spaces
