The Systems Engineer II – Systems…

Job responsibilities

Support development and maintenance of system, subsystem, and interface requirements; assist with traceability and compliance efforts
Assist in development of system-level verification plans, procedures, and compliance matrices
Support execution of system-level verification activities (e.g., reviews, inspections, and tests)
Contribute to risk identification, documentation, and tracking; assist in developing mitigation strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including propulsion, software, hardware, test, GNC, quality, and safety
Support communication of requirements, verification status, and technical issues with internal teams and stakeholders
Assist in development and maintenance of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts using SysML and Cameo/MagicDraw
Participate in configuration management and change control processes

Job requirements

Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) processes or similar DoD program environments
Exposure to technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
Basic understanding of system architecture frameworks (e.g., DoDAF)
Demonstrated strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to mission success
Travel up to approximately 10%
U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract eligibility
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
Must comply with ITAR regulations
