Job responsibilities

• Operations Management: Direct and coordinate all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and capacity management.
• Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
• Implement best practices in lean manufacturing and operational excellence to streamline workflows and maximize resource utilization.
• Supply Chain Management Leadership: Direct strategic sourcing strategies to ensure a robust and reliable supply chain.
• Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize efficiency and minimize risk.
• Production Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive production plans aligned with company objectives and customer requirements.
• Monitor production progress and performance indicators to identify bottlenecks and proactively address production challenges.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain management, including 5+ years at the director level or above.
• Aerospace, Automotive, or similar industry experience in a technical field, with working knowledge of relevant processes, materials, and technologies.
• Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills, with a demonstrated record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build durable relationships across internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire teams toward ambitious goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Advanced degree (MBA, or MS in engineering or a related field).
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement credentials.
