Las Vegas, NV – Roborock has unveiled its latest innovation, the Saros Z70, a hybrid robotic vacuum and mop that promises to revolutionize home cleaning. Debuting at CES 2025, this device boasts a unique twisting Omni grip appendage, allowing it to pick up small objects like stray socks, paper, and towels while maneuvering through your home. We hope your house is not this messy, but if it is, the Saros Z70 is ready to help!
After seven years in development, the Saros Z70 is touted as the first mass-produced robotic vacuum to feature a foldable robotic arm. Users can control the arm via the Roborock companion app, enabling it to retrieve specific items and place them in designated areas. Currently, the Saros Z70 is capable of lifting objects weighing up to 300 grams, with additional support for clothing and pet toys expected in future updates.
Roborock has announced that the Saros Z70 is now in mass production and slated for release in April. While the exact retail price is still under wraps, company representatives indicated that it would be available for around $2,000. The key question remains: Does picking up socks justify the cost of the robotic arm?
