Claude Duet will reach $20 Pro plans, undercutting Dots on price
Engadget notes Duet is headed to Anthropic’s $20 Pro plan at general availability, while Dots needs a ChatGPT Pro plan from $100.
Anthropic says subscribers on its $20-a-month Pro plan will get Claude Duet when it reaches general availability, Engadget reports. That sets it apart from OpenAI’s Dots, which currently need a ChatGPT Pro plan starting at $100 a month.
The catch is usage. Duet draws on the same limits as the rest of Claude, including Claude Code, which is why it checks connected accounts every few hours instead of constantly. Engadget also notes that Duet never directly sees passwords or sign-in tokens, and that health or financial details only go out when you tell it to share them.
