D-Robotics closes $400 million Series C for robot chips and software
The Sunrise chipmaker says its S600 embodied AI processor has been adopted by more than 20 robot makers, including UBTECH, Fourier and Booster Robotics.
D-Robotics, which supplies computing and development infrastructure for robots, has closed a $400 million Series C. A leading global internet company invested strategically, alongside other institutions and returning shareholders.
The money will expand the Sunrise chip lineup across performance levels and build a software platform covering the full robot development process, from established robot categories to general-purpose humanoids.
D-Robotics said revenue grew several times year over year in the first half of 2026, and cumulative Sunrise shipments passed 8 million units. The Sunrise S600, launched in November 2025, was picked up by more than 20 embodied AI customers within six months, including TARS, Spirit AI, X Square Robot, UBTECH, PaXini Tech, Astribot, Fourier and Booster Robotics.
The company’s Gravity Program has backed more than 500 robotics developers, and more than 500 universities and over 100,000 developers in more than 20 countries have built robots on its platform.
