FieldAI is set to raise $700 million at a $10 billion valuation
Business Insider says the robot-brain company signed a term sheet that would take it from $2 billion last year. The round has not closed.
FieldAI is raising $700 million at a $10 billion valuation, Business Insider reported, citing a person familiar with the deal. That is five times the $2 billion valuation from last year, when the company raised more than $400 million from investors including Jeff Bezos's family office, Laurene Powell Jobs's Emerson Collective, and Khosla Ventures.
Founded in 2023 and based in Irvine and the Bay Area, FieldAI builds what it calls a universal general-purpose brain for robots it does not make. The software is meant to run humanoids, robot dogs, drones, and industrial rovers in places that are hard to predict. Customers include construction firms, data center operators, and defense companies. Since June the company has added at least $35 million in revenue and customer contracts, bringing that total past $135 million.
A term sheet is signed and the round has not closed. FieldAI did not respond to a request for comment, and it is not clear which firm is leading. The new mark would put FieldAI near Physical Intelligence, valued at about $11 billion, and Skild AI, valued at more than $14 billion.
