Unitree launches G1+ humanoid with a moving neck and more torque
The upgraded G1 adds two neck joints, stronger shoulder, waist and arm motors, new vision and audio hardware, and starts at RMB 95,000 in China.
Unitree has released the G1+, an upgrade to its G1 humanoid with changes to motion, perception, interaction and endurance, TechNode reported. The standard model costs RMB 95,000 in China. Buyers of the G1+ EDU version are asked to contact sales.
The robot gains two degrees of freedom in the neck. Peak shoulder and waist torque is up 110%, maximum arm torque is up 43%, and the motors run cooler at the same torque.
Unitree also added a binocular and wide-angle vision system, touch sensing on the head, support for external power, a six-microphone array and two 10-watt speakers.
