Unitree unveils the H2-X, a kung fu “guardian” humanoid
A one-minute video shows the robot kicking cars, jumping from a four-meter platform and acting out bodyguard and rescue scenes. Unitree has not given a price, a launch date or a full spec sheet.

Unitree Robotics posted a new humanoid, the H2-X, on October 21 in a video called “Kung Fu Legend Guardian.” It is built on the company’s H2 platform. In a scrapyard, the robot kicks and dents a car, flips off its roof, and jumps from a platform labeled four meters high. Unitree labels the footage as real and not sped up.

The second half is staged. H2-X steps between a woman and a masked intruder with a knife, lifts the front of a car so a trapped dummy can be pulled out, and pushes a child-sized mannequin out of a car’s path. Unitree marks these as security demonstrations with props.
The one number Unitree gave is endurance of about eight hours. The on-screen wording says that is standing time, not eight hours of walking or stunts. Unitree has not said whether the moves were autonomous, remote-controlled or choreographed.
There is no H2-X price, launch date or full spec sheet yet. For reference, the standard H2 stands 182 cm tall, weighs about 70 kg, has 31 degrees of freedom and lists at $29,900. Unitree has not said which of those carry over to the H2-X.
