Job responsibilities

  • Assists in the design of routine systems that integrate hardware and software.
  • Assist lead engineers with project documentation and tasks.
  • Ability to learn and show proficiency with Dematic systems, e.g., CAD, SAP, Travel, and other applications .
  • Provides assistance in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction, and improvement in customer satisfaction.
  • Aids in the start-up, commissioning, and testing of material handling systems.
  • Assist with software PLC emulation and testing of material handling systems .
  • Ability to locate and follow Standard Work Practices and procedures .
  • Performs basic tasks and functions for professional field of work.

Job requirements

  • Typically, up to 0-4 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
  • Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments.
  • Demonstrates a basic knowledge of professional principles and skills.
  • Effectively uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular area of specialization.
  • Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider) is preferred but not required .
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
