Field Services Engineer

Job description

What you’ll do The Field Engineer is a hands-on role, responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of Pronto's advanced technology solutions across a range of customer locations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring successful deployment and optimal performance of Pronto equipment in the field.

Job requirements

  • Advanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or other relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in field service, automotive electronics, mechatronics, or a similar technical support role.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and electrical testing tools.
  • Solid understanding of vehicle systems (power, CAN bus, sensors, ECUs).
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and follow technical documentation.
  • Comfortable working independently in field environments and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% to customer sites.
