Job description

As an Electrical Hardware Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for end-to-end hardware development lifecycle across design, validation, and manufacturing for flight-critical avionics systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams - including propulsion, structures, firmware, software, safety, certification, production - to meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Key job responsibilities Own product development lifecycle of hardware(s) within the avionics system. Develop and execute verification and validation test plans, including qualification and compliance against aerospace standards (e.g., DO-160, DO-254).

Job requirements

  • Experience with prototyping and implementation
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in root cause analysis and error correction, identifying changes to procedures and systems to implement long-term fixes and avoid repeating issues
  • Experience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture, stackup and circuit board layout
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or experience with modern ASIC/FPGA design and verification tools
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with product level validation testing (Thermal, EMC/EMI, Shock, Cycle Testing, etc.)
  • 5+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience
