Job description

At Sunday, we're developing personal robots to reclaim the hours lost to repetitive tasks. We're focused on an ambitious goal to make generalized robots broadly accessible, enabling households to take back quality time.

We have spent the last 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating our technology. We are now seeking passionate individuals to join us in the next phase of our growth. If you are ready to apply your skills to the forefront of robotics innovation, we’d love to hear from you.

You'll be the first illustrator to work with Sunday's product team. Memo, our home robot, is moving from beta to its first commercial release, and before our ML, hardware, robot…

Job responsibilities

  • Translate 4–6 written user journeys into illustrated storyboards of 6–10 frames each, roughly 40–60 frames total, with revisions per journey
  • Draw Memo, people, and home interiors (bedrooms, hallways, laundry areas) from reference photos of the robot
  • Work in loose, clean black-and-white line art with accent color markings, optimized for explaining ideas
  • Deliver frames as PNG or PDF sized for slides, plus editable source files, into the product team's shared Notion page
  • Take feedback from product, design, and robot software reviewers and turn it around quickly, flagging where a written journey is ambiguous or physically implausible before you draw it
