In-House Creator

Job description

Job responsibilities

• Capture everyday life at Genesis, from late test runs to whiteboard sessions to lunch, and turn it into a steady pipeline of material for the brand accounts.
• Film robots and lab work safely and closely enough that the footage shows real capability, favoring unbroken takes on real tasks over staged moments.
• Shoot, produce, and edit video end to end, handling camera, lighting, audio, pacing, music, and the final cut, with each version built natively for its platform and X first.
• Develop recurring formats, such as lab updates, engineer explainers, and first-attempt robot reels, that the team can count on and the audience comes back for.
• Put founders, researchers, and engineers on camera, helping people who'd rather be debugging come across clearly and like themselves.
• Cover launches, events, and lab visits, and turn customer deployments into video stories as robots go into production.
• Build a searchable footage library and a capture system with shot lists and filming guides so engineers and field teams bring back usable footage when you're not there.
• Work with the Social Media Manager on what ships, when, and in what form, supplying both the raw and finished material behind the calendar.
