Senior Technical Program Manager, Hardware Systems

Job responsibilities

• Create and drive program plans, timelines, and implementation across the end-to-end development lifecycle through to customer deployments for products spanning mechanical and electrical design, safety, firmware,…
• Own cross-functional dependency management, program risk registers, build scope; manage program cadences, issue backlogs, and early risk retirement.
• Collaborate and communicate with leadership, internal partners (e.g. engineering, design, product management, project engineering, deployment teams), and external partners to drive execution and maintain alignment
• Initiate and implement processes to ensure efficient deployment of resources, and improve program management best practices

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in technical program management or related role, with hands-on experience managing physical products development lifecycles (mechanical/electrical design, prototyping, validation builds and…
• Experience planning and managing program resourcing, schedules, budgets, and driving milestones across hardware and software programs
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, communicating results to senior leadership, and driving programs through launch
• You have working knowledge of sensors and sensing systems, implementing safety systems and standards, and certification processes
• You’re very comfortable developing timelines and driving program execution, and have proven experience launching multiple hardware products
• You’re excited about working on maturing products, growing, and shaping the future of the company
• You’re familiar with Linear, Smartsheets, Notion, Jira, Asana or any other task/project management platform
