Avride is a U.S.-based autonomous vehicle startup headquartered in Austin, TX, with additional R&D hubs around the world. Job responsibilities

Assess and document vehicle damage after road incidents.
Perform minor on-site repairs and coordinate major repairs with partner service centers.
Conduct regular scheduled maintenance and inspections (e.g., brakes, fluids, AC, tires, etc.).
Monitor vehicle condition and report potential issues before they become problems.
Support field operations by overseeing car evacuations and towing after incidents.
Keep the fleet operational and road-ready by transporting vehicles for service appointments, repairs, and car washes.
Maintain fleet and shop cleanliness, readiness, and compliance with safety standards.

Job requirements

Prior experience as an automotive technician or in a similar mechanical role
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and EV fundamentals
Clean driving record and valid Texas driver’s license
Ability to work independently and handle fast-changing priorities
Detail-oriented and committed to safety and quality
Comfortable working around advanced autonomous vehicle technology
Prior experience as an EV Technician is highly preferred
Experience with ADAS vehicles preferred
