We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our HW Services team in Westborough, MA. In this role, you will design and develop distributed software systems that power Amazon's Mobile Robotics organization, supporting over 1 million devices deployed globally. You will build next-generation FW/SW deployment management infrastructure, working closely with up and downstream teams, providing a seamless and integrated solution. As a member of a small, high-impact team, you will work across the full stack using Python, Kotlin, React, Java, and AWS cloud technologies while contributing to supporting large scale FW/SW deployments.

Job requirements

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
2+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
Experience with AWS or cloud technologies
Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java or Perl
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
