Strategic Accounts Manager, Data Centers - US Robotics West Coast

This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. SoftBank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing.
Job responsibilities
- Achieve consistent top-line sales growth with the assigned Strategic accounts
- Accountable for developing, maintaining and growing the sales pipeline
- Be the representative facing Strategic Accounts, in front of the key decision makers at various levels and locations
- Lead a virtual team of Sales and Sales Support professionals across multiple states and regions
- Create, plan and implement detailed Account plans and achieve timely completion of objective
- Develop player maps and implement a program to connect the key sponsors at both sides for building longer partnerships
- Drive early-stage engagement to influence design for automation friendly specifications
- Lead and manage multi-year and multi-location sales programs and projects
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of commercial experience in Account Management and Key Account Management roles;
- Solution selling, client engagement, negotiation and industry awareness.
- Seasoned commercial campaigner in dealing with complex decision-making units (DMU’s) within large global customer organizations
- Experience with customers, including sales, problem resolution and influencing skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Candidate must be able to work in the United States without ABB support.
