Job responsibilities

• Define and evolve the foundational design language for a platform-level build system.
• Build a patform level design system that supports multiple products and tools, rather than a single application.
• Establish scalable design system assets across design and code.
• Define agent-driven design system patterns, enabling AI agents and coding tools to generate product experiences using approved components, patterns, and system rules.
• Create code-based standards, reusable skills, and implementation guidance that engineers and AI coding tools can use consistently.
• Establish and maintain accessibility standards across components, patterns, and platforms.
• Validate the design system across real products and workflows.
• Support a multi-platform ecosystem across web, in-vehicle interfaces, devices, enterprise tools, and emerging surfaces.

Job requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or design systems work, ideally on complex B2B, technical, or data-heavy software
• Bachelors degree in engineering or design field
• Strong experience building and scaling platform-level design systems across multiple products or tools.
• Excellent visual and interaction design skills.
• Strong understanding of design system architecture, accessibility, and inclusive design.
• Experience translating design systems into production code, reusable components, and AI-consumable standards.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to design for complex enterprise ecosystems.
• Experience partnering closely with engineering.
