Figure has unveiled its Figure 03 general-purpose humanoid robot, targeting everyday household tasks.
The robot’s design is built for home environments, featuring a knit fabric exterior and articulated toes for stable movement. It includes inductive charging pads in its feet for convenient power replenishment.
A key feature is the advanced sensory system, with an integrated camera housed within the robot’s hands for detailed object manipulation.
Intelligence and Capabilities
The intelligence behind Figure 03 is its proprietary AI, Helix. This system is designed to enable the robot to navigate unpredictable home environments, understand natural language commands, and perform tasks autonomously.
The company states Figure 03 can handle a range of household chores, including laundry, cleaning, and doing dishes, without human intervention. Interaction is through verbal communication: users can talk, ask, or delegate tasks directly.

Next-Generation Hardware & Manufacturing
Proven Autonomy: The robot has been shown successfully testing in a home environment, performing long-horizon tasks from start to finish with full autonomy, with nothing teleoperated.
Integrated AI & Body: It features a completely redesigned sensory suite and hand system, which is purpose-built from the ground up to enable “Helix,” Figure’s proprietary vision-language-action (VLA) AI.
Lighter & More Agile: Through design refinements, Figure 03 is 9% lighter than its predecessor, Figure 02.
User & Safety Features: It features convenient 2kW wireless charging, an improved audio system for clearer voice reasoning, and significant battery safety advancements.
Revolutionary Vision System: A new compact camera architecture delivers twice the frame rate, one-quarter the latency, and a 60% wider field of view per camera. This is complemented by an embedded palm camera with a wide field of view for low-latency, close-up sensing.
Human-Like Touch: The robot is equipped with first-generation, in-house developed tactile sensors for its fingertips, capable of detecting delicate forces as small as three grams of pressure.
High-Speed Data: For rapid learning and data offload, the system includes a 10 Gbps mmWave capability.
Safe Coexistence: The mechanical design includes better protection against pinch points, making it safer to work alongside humans.
Figure has firmly positioned Figure 03 as a dominant force in the race to create a truly useful general-purpose humanoid robot.
