About the role: This onsite IT Operations Engineer position at Skydio's HQ is the front line of employee technology support — the person who makes sure every new hire's first day starts smoothly, every equipment request gets fulfilled, every conference room works when a meeting starts, and every walk-up question gets answered fast.

You'll own the full employee technology lifecycle: onboarding, transfers, offboarding, equipment provisioning, purchasing, conference room support, and day-to-day employee technology support.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-up and ticketed IT support by gathering information, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Linux, Windows, and Mac, resolving issues where…
  • Provide hands-on support for hardware diagnostics, system provisioning, and patch management.
  • Take ownership of issues from intake through resolution by investigating problems, collaborating with teammates when needed and following through to ensure employees receive timely support.

  • Administer and improve Okta for identity and access: SSO, MFA, user provisioning/deprovisioning, group management, and automation workflows tied to onboarding and offboarding events.
  • Ensure employee devices are properly enrolled in JumpCloud during onboarding, updated throughout conversions, and removed during offboarding.
  • Manage the full equipment request lifecycle — intake, approval, purchasing, provisioning, and tracking — ensuring employees have the hardware they need, on time.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records, prepare returned devices for redeployment, monitor stock levels, and ensure equipment is available to support onboarding and replacement requests.
