Job Description:

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the system integration & test team in designing new test systems for critical robot modules

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design jigs, fixtures and tools which support key robot applications in 3D CAD.
  • Design and assemble systems which help with robot manufacturing and integration
  • Generate accurate 2D drawings using GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
  • Build test fixtures
  • Inspect first articles, build test stands, and continuously support applications
Job Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar field
  • Expert in using 3D CAD software to design parts with complex geometry
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stackups and overconstraint problems
  • Experience designing and building prototypes
  • Ability to write and maintain clean documentation for your design process
  • Experience with electromechanical integration, such as sensors, motors, motor drivers, wire harnesses, and communication buses
  • Strong knowledge of CNC Machining
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience with dynamometers
  • CATIA V6 Experience
Salary:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $120,000 – $190,000 annually.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
