NDT Inspector / Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

Job responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for assigned NDT methods. Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to support manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory…
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections using methods such as: Radiographic Testing (RT) (required)
- Visual Testing (VT)
- Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Conduct welding inspections in accordance with AWS, ASME, API, and customer specifications.
- Prepare and approve NDT procedures and other related NDT work instructions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on NDE techniques, methods, and applications.
Job requirements
- Level II RT certification in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A or NAS-410.
- High school diploma or technical degree in Welding, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding inspection and NDT.
- Experience with ASME Section V, VIII, IX, API 1104, API 650, or AWS D17.1.
- Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- Current ASNT NDT Level III in RT with nondestructive testing background.
- Strong understanding of welding processes and knowledge related to orbital tube welding.
- Ability to work alternate shifts, weekends, and extra hours as schedules require.
