• Drafting high-quality patent applications, including generating patent figures and writing detailed patent applications to protect innovative technologies
• Prosecuting patent applications, including responding to office actions and communicating with patent examiners
• Conducting and analyzing comprehensive patent searches to identify prior art and assess the patentability of inventions
• Staying up to date on developments in U.S. patent law and relevant technologies

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
• Certification: Registered as a patent agent before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
• Experience: 8+ years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a large law firm environment
• Skills: Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team

• Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Robotics or artificial intelligence (AI)

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $100,000 – $200,000 annually.
