Senior Technical Business Developer

Job description

As a Senior Technical Business Developer, you will serve as a key individual contributor and subject matter expert for capital equipment sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management. You will own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle - from supplier identification and RFQ execution through contract award and delivery - for high-value equipment, automation systems, tooling, and more. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you will be a technical procurement authority for the organization. You will partner closely with partner teams across the organization to ensure material readiness and targets are met.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or procurement in an industrial automation, or similar technical environment
  • Experience managing CAPEX procurement programs and vendor portfolios for complex environments, including equipment, automation, and tooling
  • Experience leading contract negotiations with OEMs, equipment manufacturers, or construction contractors for agreements of significant value
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies, procurement frameworks, or standard operating procedures
  • Technical background or demonstrated experience in automation or new product introduction
  • MBA, or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
  • Experience in automation, semiconductors, high-tech, or similar industries
