Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining the embedded systems that power our robots. This role involves working on real-time operating systems (RTOS), low-Level firmware, and communication protocols to enable precise motor control, sensor integration, and robust system performance.

Key job responsibilities - You will develop and maintain firmware for robotic control platforms, ensuring reliability and performance. - You will design, implement, and optimize software for real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or Zephyr.

Job requirements

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or systems engineering
Experience in embedded development in C/C++, or experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems
Proven experience with RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or Zephyr including system performance characterization and design for realtime performance
Extensive hands-on experience developing firmware for STM32 microcontrollers and familiarity with the ST Micro IDEs and toolchains
